About Fast Track

Aims and Objectives:

The Fast Track program is designed to empower young computer science graduates with the confidence and skills they need to excel in the industry from day one of their careers. Recognizing that knowledge, skills, and attitude (KSA) are crucial for success as a professional, this program focuses on developing the additional skills and attitudes that fresh graduates require, beyond the knowledge gained through their degree program. The aim is to empower them to be effective, confident, and prepared to tackle the challenges of the industry.


This program is the perfect opportunity for graduates who have completed a three-year degree without any industrial training experience. Through this program, trainees will receive close supervision and guidance as they develop their skills in software development, software quality assurance, project management, and professional work ethic. By working closely with a mentor, trainees will also develop important attitudes such as positivity towards work, team-work mentality, self-directed learning skills, personal development planning, and a commitment to lifelong learning. These abilities will empower them to effectively meet the challenges of the industry and rapidly advance in their careers as associates.


Digital Pulz is a provider of healthcare software solutions for a variety of healthcare institutions, including clinics, hospitals, and both human and veterinary. Among its offerings, the company's veterinary software, Vet Pulz, was the proud recipient of the Gold Award at the 2022 National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA), organized by the British Computer Society (BCS). Chosen candidates will have the privilege of working alongside the Digital Pulz team, who boast a wealth of experience in developing enterprise-level software solutions.

Includes

  • 1. Mentoring Sessions - Individualized Mentoring Sessions will be provided by Experts to develop the candidates’ overall industry readiness
  • 2. Personal Development Training - Develop Essential Skills, by participating in sessions organized by Academic Experts and doing Hands-on Activities
  • 3. Individual Skills Gap Identification - Each candidate will be evaluated throughout the program and provided guidance to overcome their deficiencies.
  • 4. Lifelong Learning - Candidates will get to appreciate Life Long learning by learning how develop their technical and essential skills.
  • 5. Industry Training Experience working at Digital Pulz for 4 months. As part of this training, candidates will learn.
    • A. Software design and development maintaining coding standards
    • B. Technical Skills to manage an existing codebase
    • C. Using code repositories, writing test cases, and testing software
    • D. Project Management Skills
    • E. Interactions with Clients
  • 6. Hackathon - Each candidate will get an opportunity to be part of a Hackathon and develop a new product prototype within one week.
  • 7. Preparation for Interviews - Get hands-on experience in facing interviews
  • 8. Certificate - A certificate will be provided for candidates who successfully complete the 4-month training program.

    Procedure

    • 1. Prospective candidates are invited to send their applications with a CV and the details of their tertiary education after leaving school (Please follow the instructions below)
    • 2. A comprehensive online interview of not less than ½ an hour will be conducted to select the candidate
    • 3. If a candidate is deemed not qualified, he/she will be given a free mentoring session to help them to develop a personal plan for their professional development.

  • Only 4 candidates will be taken to maintain the individual attention to each trainee’s progress.
